Icelandic Routes

Icelandic Routes is a study of Iceland in motion—a collection of landscapes photographed from the passenger window while traveling across the southern and western reaches of the country.

These frames follow winding coastal roads, remote stretches of countryside, highland routes, and rugged F-roads through landscapes that seem to change by the mile. Mountains disappear into clouds, lava fields stretch toward the horizon, rainbows appear over sun-kissed landscapes, and narrow roads cut through places that feel almost entirely untouched.

Rather than focusing on a single destination, Icelandic Routes captures everything in between—the fleeting views, wildlife, unexpected landscapes, and moments that appear along the road and disappear just as quickly behind you.
