Montana in Passing

Captured in 2019, Montana in Passing is a collection of fleeting scenes from across the vast Montana landscape.

Most of these photographs were made from the passenger window—open countryside, distant mountains, weathered structures, and stretches of road disappearing toward the horizon. Mixed among them are a few still moments from Glacier National Park as the last light of the day settled across the mountains.

Together, these frames preserve the feeling of simply moving through Montana: watching an enormous landscape unfold outside the window and capturing whatever caught the eye before it disappeared behind us.
